Launched as the flagship UHP tire for modern high-powered SUVs, the Toyo Proxes Sport SUV combines track-derived technology with real-world refinement, engineered to handle the increased weight, higher center of gravity, and instant torque of today’s performance crossovers on UAE’s expansive freeways. The asymmetric tread pattern features a rigid outer shoulder with large blocks for maximum dry cornering grip and stability during aggressive maneuvers, while the inner section incorporates wide grooves and high-density siping for rapid water evacuation and outstanding wet braking performance (EU A-rated in many sizes). A specially developed high-silica compound with nano-balance technology ensures excellent heat resistance on scorching asphalt, maintaining flexibility and grip at sustained high speeds up to Y-rated (186 mph) without premature wear. The continuous center rib and reinforced barrel-shaped rib profile enhance straight-line tracking and steering precision, while dynamic taper grooves and 3D multi-wave sipes improve block rigidity for shorter dry braking distances by up to 10% compared to conventional designs. Internally, a high-stiffness casing with twin steel belts and jointless nylon cap ply supports heavy SUV loads up to 106 index (950 kg) while transmitting clear road feedback. Variable-pitch sequencing and optimized shoulder block placement keep road noise remarkably low for a UHP tire, delivering a surprisingly refined cabin experience even at triple-digit speeds.
